Training at low tide
How do you simulate riding in snow, when there is no snow to ride in? Well, ride the beach, not only the stuff up top, that is always soft and fluffy, but also down in the tidal flats where it is like riding in quick sand. You have to read the flats and pick your line or no matter how much float you have in your big tires, you will be sinking before you know it.
