Technology Woes....

I have been a long time user of Squarespace for this website and have for the most part been very pleased.  With that said, they have just finished migrating from their old version, v5 to their new version V6.  I participated in the beta and chose to go live with my site early on in the process.  However, as of last week, they have now gone out of beta and into 'Live' production mode and I am being forced to change things up because certain choices I made during the beta phase are no longer available in the 'Live' phase.​

What does this have to do with you?  Well beyond the fact that as adventurers and lovers of the outdoors you too may want to produce a blog, and thus care about the different ways to do things, the more immediate impact is that my website is going to be in a state of flux for a week or two as I reorganize things.  For instance, right now all of my Adventures and Sponsors are no longer visible.  I am working on how to fix this but it is going to take me a bit of time.  I may also dramatically change the look and feel of the site as I navigate through the new Template choices that Squarespace is offering.  Please don't be put off if you come back and things look dramatically different in a very short span of time.​

​The net result is definitely a very high level of frustration with Squarespace.....
