A Change of Pace

Last night I had the opportunity to take a break from editing Spare Seat images and go support an amazing organization, Wholesome Wave.  Based in CT, Wholesome Wave is at the leading edge of helping under served communities get access to fresh fruits and vegetables. 

The themed event was a food based auction, with chefs from some of the top CT restaurants serving up their delicious recipes.  I had the opportunity to meet each of them, sample the foods and take some pictures which will be used to support their efforts.  If you get the time, check out their site and feel free to browse through the images.  A word of warning, don't look at them if you are at all hungry :-)

One Ocean Project

We are pleased to be temporarily hosting the website for the One Ocean Project.  As I have mentioned before, this is an incredible new organization that I am very excited to be associated with.  The upcoming 2010 Atlantic Seaboard Expedition will be done in partnership with the One Ocean Project.  You can read more about their mission and goals as well as following along with their upcoming events by following the links on the right.  Also, since this is a brand new organization, your support is greatly needed and appreciated.  Please use the donate button on the right to help out this wonderful organization!
