After the Sun Sets
60 seconds at f10 -- Zeiss 21 2,8
This has to be one of my favorite times to photograph, after the sun has dipped below the horizon. In the fall and winter, when the haze and humidity dissipates, I find the light just keeps getting better and better until it finally dissapears.
Shooting these images requires a steady tripod, long, long exposures and a good bit of patience. In the end, the results are generally worth the wait. This image was shot the other night as the setting sun, combined with a passing storm front created that magical and very dramatic light.
