Nikon updates firmware for V1 & J1

Nikon has released a firmware update for the V1 & J1 cameras that prepares them for release of the FT1 adapter.  The FT1 adapter will allow the use of Nikon F-mount NIKKOR lenses on the two cameras.

Similar in function to the Sony LEA-2 for the NEX line, these adpaters make the small mirrorless cameras quite an attractive option for travel photographers.  In addition, Adobe has released Lightroom 3.6 and Camera Raw 3.6, both of which now support the Nikon One series cameras.
