NIKON V1 AND BLACK FRIDAY

As you know, I am pretty enthused about the new Nikon V1 system.  My time with the camera really impressed me and I think Nikon is really on to something with this new system.  Having travelled and shot extensively with the Sony NEX-5 this past year, I am convinced that one can obtain really high quality images with these smaller cameras.  In the end, having a camera on you that is ready to shoot is way more important than having a state of the art DSLR that you left at home or in the car and missed the shot. 

Right now the deals that Nikon is running are really fantastic.  In essence, you can get the body and all three lenses (10, 10-30, 30-110) for a little more than a grand at Amazon.  Stock is running low but there are still kits available that you can purchase through Amazon, even though the orders are fulfilled by affiliates. 

If you are looking for a small camera that can keep up with your kids and pets for family action photos or take great pictures on your travels, then really you should take a serious look at the Nikon V1.
