Cape Fanshaw, AK

Day 76 of my 147 day solo kayak journey was coming to an end at the famed Cape Fanshaw, home of the majestic Humpback whales. The hoots and slaps; the songs they sung; all continued through the night, keeping me company with their haunting sounds.  Natures awe inspiring symphony continued with the rising sun, only to be outdone by the now visual display of whales as far as the eye could see; many leaping into the air as if to say look, we too can fly.
