Tour Divide Winner's Gear List

Ollie Whalley crushed the Tour Divide record this year, completing the race in record setting time.  Ollie, from New Zealand, used two items that I find most interesting.  First he went with a Rohloff hub and second he went with a Gates Carbon Belt drive.  Two drive train components that you don't often see in races where weight and durability are an issue.

You can review Ollie's complete gear list here.  I have been contemplating the use of a Rohloff on my next touring build and Ollie's success lends a great deal of credibility to this type of setup.  If you have any experience with one I would love to hear about it.
