Salsa Minimalist Rack

I have a minimalist rack on the way that I will be mounting on my friends Troll for a short bikepacking trip that we will be taking around Ireland.  The troll does not have fork mounts for the Salsa Anything cages or for water bottles, so I will first attempt a bit of a workaround to get the Anything Cages mounted.  Assuming that works, then we really won't need the Minimalist rack, and I will just store it for my fatbike trip across the Arctic circle later this winter.  However, if the cages don't work, we will leave the Minimalist rack on the Troll as we travel the backroads of Southern Ireland.

I have never used one of these racks, so I am anxious to get it installed and report back on how it works.  I think for ultralight bikepacking to remote regions, this could be instrumental in keeping gear off of my bike and allowing me to carry the appropriate amount of food and water that a remote expedition requires.

I have more details coming on the Bikepacking trip to Ireland once I am back from my winter surival training along with pictures and my detailed thoughts on mounting the rack to a non salsa fork.
